20 People in 20 Days. Or how NOT to move into a new house.

K1.P2 has followers.  Which is great.  But then I feel guilty for not updating this past month… said followers will get bored.  And leave my sorry little knitting heaven. Ah! The conundrum!

Its been a very busy month needless to say. In retrospect, the busiest I’ve had in years.  You see, we bought a house.  And we moved in on December 5th. A wonderful thing… but not so wonderful, the 20 people expected for Christmas Dinner!  So we packed.  Moved.  Unpacked.  Set up the house - simple but functional for said guests. And then started gift shopping, putting up the tree, and planning a Christmas Dinner menu to be remembered.  All the while, working a busy job.

I’m actually surprised I didn’t have a nervous breakdown.  I don’t want to host any parties for at least…11 months.  Maybe never.

The sad part, there isn’t a knitting needle to be seen in the new house.  There’s even a dedicated “Knitting Room” to be filled with yarny goodness!  I just can’t find my needles and yarn.  I think they’re in a box, in the basement.  They’re there some place.  I can hear them calling to me.
